This Privacy Policy explains how AI Talking Photo ("the Application", "we", "our", or "us") processes, stores, and protects information when you use our mobile application.

Our application empowers users to bring still portrait photographs to life by animating realistic facial expressions and synchronizing lip movements to custom audio speech generated from short text prompts, as well as providing optional character face-swap demonstrations.

2. Information We Process

We collect and process only the minimal data strictly necessary to fulfill your requests:

• User-Selected Photos: When you initiate an animation or face-swap, you select a portrait image from your device via the standard system photo picker. This image is transmitted securely to our cloud processing infrastructure to generate the animated clip.
• Text Prompts & Voice Selection: The text phrases you type or select (up to two sentences) and your chosen character voice are processed to synthesize the vocal audio track.
• Application Interactions & Telemetry: To diagnose stability issues, prevent service abuse, and understand feature adoption, we collect pseudonymous usage metrics (such as screen views, generation success or failure status, and video playback completion rates).
• Pseudonymous Technical Identifiers: A locally generated pseudonymous app instance identifier (e.g., u_...) is stored locally on your device to maintain session continuity and analytics. This identifier is never linked to your personal real-world identity, phone number, contacts, or email address.
• Advertising Interaction Data: To support free access, the application displays sponsored advertising via industry-standard ad networks. These networks may collect non-personal device information and ad impression events in compliance with platform advertising standards.

3. Data We Do NOT Collect

We firmly believe in data minimization. The Application does not access or collect:

• Your real name, physical address, email address, or phone number.
• Your contact lists or address book.
• Precise or approximate GPS location data.
• SMS, call logs, browsing history, or biometric identification databases.
• Files, documents, or media outside the specific photo you explicitly select.

4. How Your Data Is Processed & Transmitted

All data transmission between the mobile application and processing endpoints is strictly encrypted in transit using modern HTTPS / TLS (Transport Layer Security) protocols.

5. Ephemeral Processing & AI Ethics

No Model Training: Your uploaded personal photos and voice prompts are processed strictly to fulfill your requested video generation. We do not sell, rent, or monetize your images, and we do not use your private photos to train public foundation models.

Ephemeral Retention: Photos and generated media are processed in transient server memory. We do not maintain a permanent server-side cloud repository or public gallery of your uploaded photos.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We partner with reputable cloud infrastructure, artificial intelligence compute, analytics, and advertising providers who process data strictly under confidentiality, security, and data protection agreements.

These service providers include:

• Cloud Infrastructure & API Gateways: For secure routing, DDoS mitigation, and serverless compute execution.
• Generative AI & Audio Processing Providers: For speech synthesis and facial animation computation.
• Analytics Providers: For anonymous crash diagnostics and user journey optimization.
• Mobile Advertising Networks: For delivering contextual and personalized sponsored ads that keep the app free to use.

7. User Rights & Data Deletion

Because we do not operate a user account system, there are no remote login profiles or passwords to manage. You maintain total control over your data:

• Local Media Deletion: Finished videos and photos saved to your device gallery can be deleted at any time through your device's built-in Photos or Files app.
• App Preferences & Cache: You can purge all cached data and reset your pseudonymous identifier by selecting "Clear Data" or "Clear Storage" in your device's Android App Settings, or by uninstalling the application.

8. Children's Privacy

Our application is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain jurisdictions). We do not knowingly collect, process, or solicit personal data from children. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can promptly take corrective action.

9. User Responsibilities & Acceptable Use

Users must only upload photographs they have the lawful right and authorization to use. The Application must not be used to create deceptive, defamatory, non-consensual intimate imagery, or harmful deepfake media. Generated outputs are intended as artificial intelligence artistic demonstrations.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect modifications in our features, operational practices, or applicable legal standards. When updates are published, the revised "Effective Date" at the top of this document will be updated. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
